The Battle Creek Bombers Baseball Club is pleased to announce that Brian Colopy has joined the front office staff as the team’s Assistant General Manager.

“I am excited to be a part of the Battle Creek Bombers and the Northwoods League,” says Colopy.  “I’m looking forward to the challenges of the upcoming season, along with a great season of Bombers Baseball.”

Colopy, 26, is joining the Bombers from Augusta, Georgia where he worked as the Corporate Partnerships Manager with Ripken Baseball and the Augusta GreenJackets of the South Atlantic (Class A) League. Prior to that, he was the Assistant General Manager for the Southern Ohio Copperheads Baseball Team in the summer collegiate Great Lakes League. 

A native of Columbus, Ohio, Colopy earned his Master’s Degree in Sports Administration and Business Administration from Ohio University.  During his collegiate career, Colopy was a member of Ohio University’s Varsity baseball team and later became the Assistant Baseball Coach at Capital University in Columbus.\"Brian_Colopy\"

Colopy continued his competitive baseball career as a member of the Chillicothe Paints Professional Baseball Club (Frontier League) for two seasons in 2005-06.
