After 13 innings of play, the Bombers pulled off the win by a score of 6-5. This is the first game in the five game series between the La Crosse Loggers and the Battle Creek Bombers. And a seven game homestand for the Bombers.
The Bombers come back to C.O. Brown Stadium after splitting a double header at Waterloo. They lost the first game 3-0, but won the second 9-3.
In the first inning the Bombers score two runs to take the lead. Josh Lyon had an RBI double and Parker Berberet had an RBI single.
Trent Fuller would knock a Logger home to cut the Bombers lead to 2-1 in the third inning. Also in the third Dan Dispensa hit a triple but was not able to score any runs off of it.
In the fourth inning Eli Hynes his a three run home run to put the Loggers up 4-2. Also in the fourth Greg Garcia hit a double, followed by Sean Deegan who hit to the third base foul line and was out but was Garcia was able to score a run.
There was no scoring until the seventh inning for both teams. Bennett Pickar hit a sacrifice fly to score and put the Loggers up 5-3. Battle Creek answered right back in the bottom of the inning. Garcia hit to center scoring a run and Navarro Hall advanced to third. While they were busy at third, Garcia was able to advance to second. Noble Enriquez walked to load up the bases. Eric Schultz was also able to walk, but a run was scored tying the game at five all.
In inning 13 of play with one out, Beau Didier hit a double to get some action going. Dispensa hit a base hit to get on base and then stole second. Hall walked to load up the bases, putting Garcia up to the plate. With a 2-1 count on him and two outs he was hit by a pitch and the winning run walked across the plate. To make the score 6-5 for a Bombers win.

Little Caesars will be giving away rally towels for the first 500 fans. Saturday Bombers team cards will be passed out, and sponsored by D.A.V. that is also Military appreciation night, where Military personnel will get in free.
