The Bombers are excited to announce the signing of Troy White from Northern Illinois University, rounding out the infield for the 2011 season.

Troy White: 5’11-180, R/R, 3B, Northern Illinois Univ. (Jr.), Chicago, IL.

Troy is finishing strong in his junior season for the Huskies, hitting .289 with 30 RBI and an impressive .289 career average. A stand-out contact hitter, he put together a stunning 15-game hitting streak during the 2010 season before suffering a season-ending injury in late April. Prior to his career at NIU, he was selected in the 48^th round of the 2008 MLB Draft by the Cleveland Indians. White is majoring in Business Administration at NIU.
