The Bombers won their fourth straight game on Thursday night in a 13-5 blowout of the Green Bay Bullfrogs, securing the series win.

Battle Creek, in nearly identical fashion, exploded in the third inning for five runs, highlighted by a grand slam from Rhett Goodmiller, the first of the season for the Bombers. Dan Dispensa also had a stand-out game, bringing around three runs, while the entire team put together 15 hits.

John Morrison struggled in the start, going 4.1 innings and surrendering four runs, but Kevin Schultz only gave up one run through 2.2, while Alex Tukey and Kristian Calibuso finished off Green Bay.

Now tied for the NWL’s top Southern Division record, the Bombers face the Frogs Friday night at C.O. Brown, competing for homefield advantage of the first round of the playoffs.
