Bombers Release 2014 Promotional Schedule

Battle Creek, Mich. – The Battle Creek Bombers have released their promotional schedule for the upcoming 2014 season and announced that single game tickets are now available for purchase to the general public.  This year’s promotional schedule includes more premium giveaways, entertainment acts, and fireworks shows than ever before.  It also includes some fresh and exciting new weekly themes, such as Feeding Frenzy Mondays, TV Tuesdays, and Diamond Dog Wednesdays. 

Opening Night

The Bombers kick off their home slate this year in a big way on Thursday, May 29th, 2014. Opening Night is presented by Kellogg Community College, and will be the first meeting between the Bombers and their new rival, the Kalamazoo Growlers.  Fans will also be treated to the nationally recognized entertainment act ‘Inflatamaniacs’, while enjoying Thirsty Thursday deals, presented by Labatt.  Fans 21+ will also walk away with one of the best giveaways of the year – their own Bombers jersey.  On top of that, fans can also receive a free magnet schedule, courtesy of the Bombers Founding Partners.    

Bobbleheads & Entertainment Acts

The Bombers will be giving away a grand total of five unique Bobbleheads throughout the 2014 season.  Three of these Bobbleheads, will feature ‘Northwoods League Legends’, such as Drew Smyly, Andy Dirks, and Max Scherzer.  You can collect all three by attending Friday, June 20th (Dirks Bobblehead Night, presented by Edward Rose), Saturday, July 12th (Drew Smyly Bobblehead, presented by Brad Gray’s Auto Body) and Friday, August 8th (Max Scherzer Bobblehead, presented by the Melges Group of Raymond James). 

The Bombers will also feature two other unique Bobbleheads this season.  To celebrate the new black bear exhibit at Binder Park Zoo, the Bombers will be giving away a Black Bear Bobble-Paw on Saturday, July 26th.  The team will also celebrate continuing education with Kellogg Community College, by giving away a Bobblehead of Blaze, the KCC mascot, as a graduate on Thursday, August 7th

On top of the nationally acclaimed Inflatamaniacs appearing on Opening Night, May 29th, the Bombers are also pleased to be hosting a ‘Cowboy Monkey Rodeo’, on Friday night, June 20th.  Fans can watch in amazement as dog-riding monkeys herd sheep on the field before your very eyes. 

Fireworks

Saturday Night Fireworks return to C.O. Brown Stadium this year on May 31st, June 21st, June 28th, July 12th, July 19th, and July 26th.  Be sure to also be in attendance for the Bombers annual Red, White & Boom celebration on July 3rd, highlighted by the largest Fireworks display of the season. 

New Weekly Themes & Major Giveaway Items

Every Monday night (June 2nd, June 9th, June 16th, June 30th, and July 28th) is a Feeding Frenzy this year with the Battle Creek Bombers.  Every ticket, priced at just $12 when you purchase in advance, becomes an all-you-can-eat ticket.  Better yet, this isn’t just limited to ballpark food.  Various Bombers partners, such as Fazoli’s, Schlotzsky’s, Pennfield Pizza, and Bumbleberries will also be offering delicious food items for fans on these dates only.  The Bombers are also introducing TV Tuesdays.  During every Tuesday home game (scheduled for June 3rd, June 10th, June 17th, July 15th, and July 29th) one fan will walk home with a flat screen TV, courtesy of Aaron’s.  And if you’re a fan of both hot dogs and diamonds (and who isn’t), be sure to check out the Bombers new Diamond Dog Wednesdays, presented by King’s Jewelers.  During every Wednesday game (scheduled for June 4th, June 11th, July 2nd, July 16th, and July 30th) the Bombers will be giving away two diamonds.  For every hot dog purchased, fans will be entered into a raffle to win one of these two valuable diamonds. 

On top of these major giveaways, one lucky fan will walk away with a giant 55” flat screen TV on Saturday, June 21st, courtesy of Aaron’s.   On Monday, June 30th the Bombers will celebrate Hibernation Night by giving away a new mattress, courtesy of Mattress Mart.  During the second-half of the Bombers season, one lucky fan may even win a free car, during the Steal of a Deal promotion, courtesy of Fadel Auto Sales.  Be sure to sign up during Bombers home games for the car giveaway, and then root for a Bombers player to steal home.  If one of our players steals home successfully, one of our fans will be driving home in a new car!  And finally, on August 8th, one fan will become an instant millionaire, courtesy of the Melges Group of Raymond James, during a Who Wants to be a Millionaire on-field promotion.
