Green Bay, Wisc.—The Battle Creek Bombers returned to Green Bay, Wisconsin, for the second time this year. The Bullfrogs did not provide a warm welcome to the Bombers, they held the Bombers scoreless and scored in every inning but the first. The final score, when it was all said and done, was 9-0, Bullfrogs.

Dakota Mekkes (Michigan State) started off strong but his pitch count ran high and the Bullfrogs forced him from the game after four innings of work and three runs for Green Bay.

That left a lot of work for the Bombers bullpen to do. Unfortunately the Bullfrogs success continued against the bullpen, scoring run after run.

The Bombers bats were held in check by the Bullfrogs for the entire game. Matt Dacey (Richmond) hit 2 doubles but could not come around to score.

The Bombers will try to split the series as they take on the Bullfrogs again tomorrow.
