Waterloo, Iowa- Errors were a big factor for a second straight night as Battle Creek had six in the first three innings. The Waterloo offense complimented those mistakes nicely as they went on to win, 13-4.

There were few bright spots for Battle Creek overall, but Spencer Thornton (San Diego State) finally saw a hard hit ball drop.

Thornton had been squaring balls up consistently for the Bombers but had nothing to show for it lately. After a lineout to start the game, he hit a 2 RBI double to right center to end the drought.

Brandon Van Horn (Dallas-Baptist) had a decent day as well for Battle Creek. He scored on Thornton's double after a walk and also had a line drive single to left.

The Bombers are trying to bounce back tomorrow verse Waterloo and split the season series. First pitch for Sunday afternoon will be 4:35 ET first pitch.
