Battle Creek, Mich. – Today's interleague matchup between the Battle Creek Bombers and the Waterloo Bucks has been postponed. Rain began to fall right before the scheduled 7:05 start time tonight and did not let up.

The Bombers and Bucks will play a doubleheader of seven-inning games tomorrow, Sunday June 14th, with game one's first pitch scheduled for 3:05 p.m. The second game will be the regularly scheduled 6:05 p.m. game, but will also only span seven innings. The first 500 fans to the park tomorrow will receive edition No. 1 of the Baseball Card Giveaway, courtesy of Allegra Printing. It is also Sunday Family Fun Day presented by Meijer, Reading Program Celebration Night, and Princess & Pirate Night presented by DeRose Family Dentistry. Fans can also stick around for an Inflatamaniacs Entertainment performance and fireworks following the conclusion of game two.

Fans who had tickets to today's game can redeem them for a general admission ticket at any 2015 Bombers home game.

The Battle Creek Bombers are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 22nd season of summer collegiate baseball, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 120 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (WAS) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (CWS), Jordan Zimmermann (WAS), Curtis Granderson (NYM), Allen Craig (BOS) and Ben Zobrist (OAK).
