The Battle Creek Bombers are excited to release their full promotional schedule for the 2017 season. The schedule is jam packed with special jersey nights, amazing fireworks shows, and national entertainment acts! Single game tickets for the season will go on sale Friday, May 5.

Opening Week

Battle Creek’s Opening Night is Tuesday, May 30 where they begin the season against the Lakeshore Chinooks. Thursday is the team’s first meeting against rival Kalamazoo Growlers. The Bombers first weekend games are slated for Friday, June 9 – Star Wars Night & Saturday, June 10 – Bark in the Park Night.

Entertainment Acts

Fans can look forward to seeing Mad Chad juggle his chainsaws on June 24, Rally will bring his antics to the ballpark July 8, the Chicago Boyz acrobatic team will perform July 15 and Dave “The Bullet” Smith, Human Cannonball will amaze on August 5.

Fireworks

The Bombers are bringing back the “Front Row Fireworks” they debuted last year after receiving rave reviews from fans. Fireworks will be shot from the field giving fans an up-close view of the promotion. Four postgame fireworks shows are on the 2017 schedule: Friday, June 9; Saturday, June 17; Friday, July 14; and Friday, August 4.

Specialty Jerseys

Three limited edition jerseys will be worn by the players this year, which will be auctioned after each game for charity. The already announced Food Fight Night will see the Bombers change their name for the night and become the Battle Creek Burritos as they take on the Kalamazoo “Corn Dogs”. On July 8 the team will don Post Cocoa Pebbles jerseys, and on Saturday, August 5 Strike Out Cancer jerseys will be worn.

Giveaways

5-Game Pack holders receive a team jersey, hat, bobblehead, poster, and team photo with each purchased package that can be picked up throughout the season.

Fans can also receive a number of giveaway items just by signing up at games this summer.  Buy a Ribfest ticket at a Bombers game in 2017 and receive a free Bombers & Ribfest mason jar. Fans can also pick up a free kids baseball bat and pass to batting practice with the Bombers by scheduling an appointment with Allen Harmon Insurance.
