Green Bay, Wisc. – The Battle Creek Bombers continued on their four-game road trip, as they would complete the sweep of Green Bay with a win 10-5. 

The Bombers (29-20, 9-5) got the lead early and were able to hold throughout, as they would sweep the Bullfrogs for the second time this season. 

The BC bats continued to stay hot, racking up 10 hits as Battle Creek would finish with a total of 38 runs in their four games played at Historic Joannes Stadium this season. 

Several different Bombers had multiple hits, including Nick Walker (Austin Peay State University), JD Mundy (Virginia Tech) and Nikola Vasic (McHenry County College). 

Walker would go 2-5 with two runs batted in, finishing his series 3-8 as he drove in five runs.  Mundy knocked his seventh home run of the year with a two-run shot in the seventh.  Vasic finished his night 2-4, as he went 4-9 in the series with four RBIs. 

Battle Creek got a solid start from Dakota Edwards (Cal State Stanislaus) as he picked up his second win.  Edwards went 5.2 innings as he allowed two runs on two hits while striking out seven.

Leadoff hitter Cody Hawken (University of Portland) drove in two runs, his 18th and 19th RBIs.  Both Aaron Antonini (Middle Tennessee State University) and Nick Menken (Virginia Tech) knocked a hit. 

Three different pitchers came out of the bullpen for the Bombers, with Jake Hawken (University of Portland), Zach Helsel (Miami Dade) and Mark Quinby (UC San Diego) closing the door. 

BC is now 5-1 against GB, as they will face the Bullfrogs in the season finale of the series in Battle Creek July 24th and 25th.   

Games three and four of the road trip for Battle Creek will take place in Fond du Lac.  Game one against the Dock Spiders is set for tomorrow night at 7:35 p.m. ET from Herr-Baker Field.
