New Team Name & Logo to be Announced at Jan. 26th Event

BATTLE CREEK, MI: After thousands of name submissions and votes for the finalists, a new era of Battle Creek Baseball officially begins on Wednesday, January 26th. The team announced today that the new team name and logo will be unveiled at the Team Name Reveal Event to be hosted at Vale Street Venue in Battle Creek, Michigan.
On November 17th, the team revealed that the “Bombers” team name would be leaving and that new team name would be coming to the Cereal City. The team allowed fans to submit their ideas for the new team name, and ultimately 4 names were chosen as finalists. The Final 4 Team Name Vote began on December 7th, and after crunching the numbers, the team is ready to share the results with the Battle Creek community.
New team owner Brian Colopy said, “This process has proven one thing. The community cares about this team. We are so proud of the new name and logo and we can’t wait to share it with our fans.”
The event, which will be held at Vale Street Venue, 1745 Columbia Ave in Battle Creek will be from 5:00-6:30pm, with the official unveiling to happen around 5:30pm. Not only will the team be revealing the new team name, but they will also be introducing a new Field Manager, as well as the team’s first two players for the 2022 roster. The team will provide snacks and drinks for fans in attendance.
Battle Creek Baseball 5-Game Plan members, host families, and sponsors will receive first access to the event and will be able to RSVP beginning Thursday, January 6th at noon. The event will be open to the public and fans who are not 5-Game Plan members can RSVP for the event beginning on Wednesday, January 12th at 9:00am.

The Battle Creek Baseball Team is a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League.
