Battle Creek, MI– Following an eventful offseason that included a full rebranding, a field naming rights partnership, and ballpark renovation announcements, the 2022 Battle Creek Battle Jacks are ready to welcome fans to MCCU Field for a summer of fun.. 

The Battle Jacks are set for fun every game this year with their new weekly promotions where fans can get great deals anytime they come out to cheer on their hometown Battle Jacks. These Promotions include…

Opening Day presented by MCCU will be on May 30th. This Memorial Day celebration will be the first installment of a three game Bark in the Park Series where fans can bring their favorite furry friend out to the ballpark for fun and special activities. These games will be on May 30th, July 1st, and July 30th. 

Hometown Heroes Night returns to Battle Creek this year on June 17th. Presented by Calhoun County Veterans Affairs, every veteran that comes out to the game will receive a free ticket. This game is also Scout Night. Use promo code SCOUT on the Battle Jacks ticket website to support scouting while enjoying a night of fun at the ballpark.

June 18th is also bringing the fun with Kellogg’s Night which will raise money for the Food Bank of South Central Michigan. It is also “Dad’s Day Out” presented by Steensma Lawn & Power. This is also one of our Rivalry Nights as the Battle Jacks take on their I-94 rivals the Kalamazoo Growlers. The team encourages fans to sport thier Battle Jacks gear and cheer on the home team as they play for the I-94 Cup.

The Battle Jacks are proud to bring back Strike Out Cancer Night on June 25th, where funds will be raised for cancer research to continue the fight against cancer.  This game will also be Reading Night presented by MCCU and Willard Library The Battle Jacks will also be celebrating “BATTLE JACKson Night” as Battle Creek baseball promotes our not so distant neighboring community in South Central Michigan.

Bring on the Balloons.  Balloonfest takes over the ballpark on July 1st for Balloonfest Night. Be sure to come out for special activities, booths, and fun as the team celebrates a tried and true tradition of Battle Creek. The team will also be hosting their second Bark in the Park night, presented by Pizza Rescue. Money will be raised that night to be donated to the Project Hope Animal Rescue. 

July 2nd is Red, White and Blue Night presented by Cassie Scramlin Keller Williams as the team honors our nation and celebrates the freedoms that allow us to enjoy the great game of baseball.

July 15th is Filled to the brim with fun as we welcome local congregations to the ballpark for Faith Night. We also will be celebrating Health and Fitness Night presented by Battle Creek Area YMCA and capping off the evening with the first of two Laser Light Shows. Who needs fireworks when you can have lasers?

Did someone say Cocomelon? That’s right fans, the Battle Jacks are having a special night just for the kids on July 16th for Cocomelon and Blippi Night. Fun activities, music, and maybe even a special guest will turn MCCU Field into a field of fun for kids and parents alike.

The second and final Laser Light Show of the season will be on July 29th where we celebrate our entire community with our Fan Appreciation Night as well as Battle Creek Pride Night. We will also be auctioning off specialty jerseys, courtesy of Marshall Community Credit Union. This inclusive experience will celebrate anyone and everyone in Battle creek. 

Not only is July 30th Celebrate Marshall Night and the third Bark in the Park of the season, but it’s also Doughnut Night Presented by Louie’s Bakery.  The Battle Jacks will wear  Battle Creek Doughnuts specialty jerseys that will be up for auction after the conclusion of the game.
