Battle Creek, Mich. – The Battle Creek Bombers came from behind against the St. Cloud Rox on Friday night to force a World Series winner-take-all matchup at C.O. Brown Stadium Saturday night. After dropping game one to the Rox 7-5 in Minnesota, the Bombers won game two in walk-off fashion in the tenth inning to tie the three-game series one a piece.
Battle Creek is competing for their second Northwoods League Summer Collegiate Championship on Saturday, August 19 at 7:05 ET. First year field manager Brian Solemsaas and his squad look to implement themselves in franchise history by winning the first World Series trophy since 2011.
