The Bombers demolished the Green Bay Bullfrogs 10-1 on Wednesday night to kick off their final homestand of the 2011 campaign.

Battle Creek pounced early with two runs in the first, when Jimmy Martinez and Troy White reached on errors and were brought home on a Danny Rockett sac fly and a Dan Dispensa single, respectively. The Bomb Squad erupted in the third, bashing the Frogs for six runs before adding another two in the fourth. Seven of nine members of the Bombers starting lineup scored runs, and six contributed RBIs.

Caleb Vincent made his second start and threw over five innings of dependable one-run ball, again proving himself to be arguably Battle Creek’s most consistent pitcher. He was credited with the win.

Game two of the three game series is Thursday with the Frogs at 7:05.
