Bullfrogs Introduce New Manager
Nedset to Guide Team in 2009

(GREEN BAY, WI) The Green Bay Bullfrogs introduced Ronnie Nedset as the franchise’s second field manager Thursday night at the team’s 3rd Annual Hot Stove event. Nedset, a Wisconsin native has a lengthy baseball resume that includes coaching and instructional experience from the high school level all the way up to the major leagues.

Most recently Nedset was the bench coach for the Rockford Riverhawks of the independent Frontier League. He’s currently an assistant coach for Milwaukee Area Technical College and an associate scout for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He’s also been a scout with the Montreal Expos and spent time as a coach and a bullpen catcher in the Detroit and Milwaukee organizations.

The team also introduced one of the two assistant coaches for the upcoming season. Jordan Bischel will join Nedset’s staff in 2009. Bischel, a former college player and now assistant coach at St. Norbert’s College in De Pere, will work primarily with the Bullfrogs pitching staff and player procurement.

Nedset, the second manager in Green Bay’s three years of existence, succeeds Elliott Strankman who is now working as a scout in the Minnesota Twins organization.
