Honkers Sign Top Ranked Titans’ Ramirez

(ROCHESTER, MN) The Rochester Honkers Baseball Club announced the signing of Nick Ramirez, a 6’3”, 225 pound infielder and left handed pitcher from Cal State Fullerton. The Titans are currently 18-4 and are ranked 1st in the nation by Baseball America.

Currently Ramirez is hitting .378 with eight doubles, six home runs and 23 RBI, helping the Titans climb the national rankings. He’s also pitched 11.1 innings out of the bullpen going 1-1 with a 5.56 ERA.

Ramirez graduated from Katella High School in Anaheim, CA where he played four years of varsity baseball. He led his team to an Empire League championship in 2008 while taking home the league’s most valuable player trophy. Ramirez was a three-time All-Empire League first teamer (2006-08) and was also named his team’s MVP those same years. He also was recognized as All-Orange County, All-CIF and high school All-American in 2008.
