Oregon Duck Becomes Rochester Honker

(ROCHESTER, MN) The Rochester Honkers Baseball Club announced the signing of Mitch Karraker, a 6’1” 175-pound sophomore catcher from the University of Oregon. Currently Karraker is hitting .245 with 7 doubles and 13 RBI.

Karraker’s primary position is catcher but has also started at first base and as designated hitter. He’s played in all but two of Oregon’s 33 games.

Karraker played the 2008 collegiate season at Fresno City College where he finished the season hitting .355 with 11 home runs and 39 RBI. He was named an All-NorCal selection and to the Central Valley Conference team.
