ESPN Radio 560 WEBC To Broadcast Duluth Huskies Games in 2009

DULUTH, Minn. — ESPN Radio 560 WEBC is proud to announce that it will again be the official broadcast home of the Duluth Huskies Baseball Club.  WEBC has been the exclusive home of the Huskies’ broadcasts since their inception in 2003.

ESPN Radio 560 WEBC will feature a full broadcast schedule of home and away games.   “Our continuing relationship with the Duluth Huskies further emphasizes our commitment to remaining the market leader in local sports broadcasts,” says WEBC Program Director Corey Carter.  “To have exciting Huskies baseball on the air and to be partnering with such a quality organization is a huge positive.”

Play-by-play duties will be handled by Aaron Oster, a Broadcast Journalism Major at the University of Maryland who will be staying in Duluth over the summer to cover the team.  Oster has experience covering collegiate teams in Maryland and also working with the NFL’s Washington Redskins and the NBA’s Washington Wizards.

Besides airing Duluth Huskies games over the summer, ESPN Radio 560 WEBC is also home of St. Scholastica Baseball, Hockey and Football, Local High School Football and Hockey, Superior Stampede Football, Grandma’s Marathon and Major League Baseball’s “Sunday Night Baseball.”
