BUCKS GAMES TO BE BROADCAST ON BRITE 95.3

Waterloo, IA – The Waterloo Bucks, a member of the Northwoods League, has announced that Brite 95.3 FM KQMG will be the new home for Waterloo Bucks radio broadcasts in 2009.  All of Waterloo’s home and road games will be broadcast live over the airwaves as well as on the web.

Along with all 68 regular season Bucks games being aired on Brite 95.3 FM KQMG, a pre-game show will be featured on the station before every Bucks contest and will start 20 minutes prior to the opening pitch.  Each pre-game show will lead into that day’s game broadcast.

All game broadcasts will be available live on the radio dial at 95.3 FM or via live streaming audio through the Bucks’ website, www.waterloobucks.com, and Brite 95.3’s website, www.kqmg.org.  In addition to the game broadcasts, Brite 95.3 will air a pre-season Media Day broadcast.  The time and date of this broadcast has yet to be determined.

“The Bucks are delighted to join Brite 95.3 KQMG in this broadcast partnership,” said Dan Corbin, Bucks General Manager.  “Station Manager Jeff Carrino has been a pleasure to work with and we’re excited to be able to team up with Brite 95.3 to make them our flagship station.”

Brite 95.3 FM KQMG provides coverage to Independence, Oelwein, Jesup, Vinton, Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Manchester, Marion, and Fayette.  Listeners receive local news, weather and event information; along with live coverage of all area high school and college sports games, and the Waterloo Bucks.
