Honkers Land Dayton Flyer

(ROCHESTER, MN) The Rochester Honkers Baseball Club announced the signing of Aaron Dunsmore, a 6-foot, 185-pound junior outfielder from the University of Dayton. Dunsmore becomes the third outfielder on the Honkers roster this summer.

Currently Dunsmore is hitting .309 with 10 home runs and 46 RBI for the 35-15 Dayton Flyers. He has struck out only 27 times in 204 at bats. Dunsmore is the everyday starting right fielder, and routinely hits in the clean up position.

Dunsmore came to Dayton from Colby County CC (KS) where he finished his sophomore season hitting. 404 with 14 home runs, 55 RBI and a school record 23 doubles. As a freshman he hit .307 with 33 RBI.

Dunsmore hails from Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada and joins fellow Canadian, Aaron Johnson, to the Rochester Honkers this summer.
