Chase Porch (North Alabama) allowed a seeing-eye single to right field to Eric Marzec with two outs in the eighth inning to see his no-hit bid go by the wayside. Porch completed the inning and gave way to the bullpen to finish off the Beetles’ 1-0 victory over the River Bats. In eight innings, Porch surrendered just the one hit, four walks and struck out eight.
