Robert Brantly (UC-Riverside) got things going early for the La Crosse Loggers with a two-run home run in the bottom of the first inning. The Loggers went on to defeat the Madison Mallards 5-3 to move within a half game of second place in the South Division. Brantly finished 2-4 with the run scored and two RBI’s. Brantly was also named NWL Player of the Night on June 20th.
