The 2009 Northwoods League Media Guide is now available to download and view free of charge, on the Northwoods League Web site, www.northwoodsleague.com.

Divided into small, quick to download portions, the media guide provides an in-depth look at where the league has been, what’s in store for the 2009 season and a glimpse at an exciting future still to come.  Online viewers may select the portions of the guide they would like to see based on the content list next to the link.  Content includes a profile on each team as they enter the 2009 season, articles recapping the 2008 season and what it takes to be a Northwoods League player, a history of the league, travel information, the Northwoods League record book, alumni and umpires in the Major Leagues, and much more.

The clean design and straightforward layout give the guide a user-friendly feel, while maintaining a professional appearance any minor league system would envy.  Laid out so that readers can peruse pages cover to cover, or seek out specific facts and figures, the guide acts as both narrative and encyclopedia.  Paragraphs supplement percentages and whether you are a long-time fan, or someone who just found out about the league, the media guide provides an opportunity to get the inside story on one of the nation’s premier summer collegiate baseball systems.

The extensive collection of Northwoods League information is also available for purchase in print.  To receive a copy, send a check for $30.00 along with your name and address to the Northwoods League front office at 2900 4th Street SW, Rochester, Minnesota 55902.
