The Border Cats are proud to announce that Thunder Bay’s Jordan Staal of the Pittsburgh Penguins will be making an appearance with the Stanley Cup at the 2009 Northwoods League All Star Game.  The game will be played Tuesday, July 21st, at Port Arthur Stadium beginning at 6:05 p.m.  The All Star game festivities also include special guest Canadian Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Ferguson Jenkins and a display by the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame.  Game Day events start at 4:00 p.m. with the Home Run Derby Contest and Fan Fest on the Rhino Sports Deck.  Fans holding all star game tickets can also take in all of the pre-game festivities.  Tickets are on sale at the Border Cats stadium ticket office or by calling 766-CATS.  Reserved Seat tickets are $12.00 for adults, $10.00 for seniors 55 & over, and $7.00 for children 12 & under.  General Admission tickets for all ages are $7.00.
