The Rochester Honkers and La Crosse Loggers are looking to wrap up the divisional playoff round with wins tonight as they travel to Mankato and Eau Claire. Tuesday night the Honkers defeated the MoonDogs 3-2 at Mayo Field while the Loggers were victorious 5-2 over the Express at Copeland Park.

The Honkers and MoonDogs will square off at 7:05pm at Franklin Rogers Field in Mankato. Rochester will be sending the NWL’s all-time strikeout leader and two-time NWL Postseason All-Star Zach Robertson (Iowa) to the mound. The lefthander was 5-3 with a 2.92 ERA during the regular season. James Wise (Washington St.) will be his opponent on the mound for the MoonDogs. Wise was a mid-season All-Star and had a 5-1 record with a 2.37 ERA. If the MoonDogs win game three will be in Rochester Thursday night.

Carson Park in Eau Claire, Wisconsin will host the Loggers and Express Wednesday with the first pitch scheduled to be thrown at 6:35pm. La Crosse starter Madison Boer (Oregon) ended the regular season with a 4-3 record and 4.01 ERA. Eau Claire counters with Tyler Bremer (UC-Davis) who went 3-1 with a 2.85 ERA. Bremer tossed a no-hitter against Battle Creek on July 16th. If Eau Claire forces a game three it will be held Thursday at Copeland Park in La Crosse.
