2010 Internship

The person or persons taking part in this unique opportunity will experience the inner-workings of a successful baseball league and assist in the league’s continued growth.

General duties would be determined based on experience and field of study but may include assisting Northwoods League administration with duties such as:

Website updating
Press release writing
Media relations
Video editing
Photography
Videography
Alumni relations
Affiliate relations

The internship is designed to take place during the summer months (May through August), but the right candidate may be afforded other opportunities.

The Northwoods League office is based in Rochester, MN. The intern’s summer-long presence in Rochester wouldn’t be necessary as many of the duties could be performed remotely. The intern will be paid a yet to be determined stipend.

All applicants should have a desire to work in sports and have knowledge of and a passion for the game of baseball. Previous knowledge of the Northwoods League isn’t necessary but will be very useful.
