Nick Anderson (St. Cloud State) led the Brainerd Area Lakes Lunkers to a 2-1 victory over the Alexandria Beetles. Anderson, a Brainerd native, threw seven innings of four hit, one run baseball. Anderson gave up one unearned run in the second inning when Matt Lowenstein (Loyola-Marymount) scored. The tall 6’4’’ righty cruised the next five innings shutting down the Beetles offense.
