Brainerd 10, Thunder Bay 2
The Brainerd Lakes Area Lunkers put on an offensive show Friday night at Port Arthur Stadium.  The Lunkers knocked out 15 hits while all but one Lunker starter registered a hit.  Brainerd’s Chadd Krist (California Berkeley) was 3-for-5 with three runs scored and three RBI.  Border Cats Jeff Deblieux (South Alabama) had two hits in the loss. 

Waterloo 8, Madison 7
The Waterloo Bucks took 12 innings to beat the Madison Mallards 8-7 in front of 1,986 fans in Waterloo.  The Bucks Willie Argo (Illinois) had two hits while Brandon Williams (Georgia State) was 2-for-5 with three RBI.  The Mallards Adam Davis (Illinois) was 4-for-6 with two runs scored in the loss. 

Wisconsin 6, Green Bay 4
The Wisconsin Woodchucks took a 6-0 lead over the Green Bay Bullfrogs and won the game 6-4 in front of 2,1119 fans.  Woodchuck first basemen Robbie De La Cruz (UNLV) went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run scored.  Wisconsin starter Cory Hall (Santa Clara) threw 8.1 innings of three hit baseball.  Green Bay pinch hitter Brad Schreiber (Purdue) hit a three run homer in the loss. 

Eau Claire 8, Battle Creek 3
All-Star Nolan Fadness (Wisconsin Oshkosh) went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and Nathan Orf (Illinois Chicago) had three hits and two RBI.  Battle Creek had six hits on the night, but had two errors in the loss.  Battle Creek starter Joe Battistelli (Eastern Michigan) took the loss throwing 2.0 innings while giving up four runs. 

La Crosse 9, Wisconsin Rapids 0
The La Crosse Loggers used a great pitching performance from two Loggers to beat the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 9-0.  Logger starter Dan Langfield threw 6.2 innings while only giving up three hits.  Cole Brocker (Sacramento CC) earned the save throwing the final 2.1 innings while striking out four.  All-Star Mike Marjama (Sacramento CC) had two hits and a run scored.  All-Star pitcher Matt Flemer (California Berkeley) was 1-for-1 with a two run homer. 

Alexandria 8, Mankato 2
The Alexandria Beetles used a four run eighth inning to beat the Mankato MoonDogs 8-2 in front of 1,030 fans.  The Beetles Marcus Semien (California Berkeley) was 2-for-3 on the night with two runs scored and an RBI.  Alexandria starter Lindsey Caughel (Stetson) threw 6.2 innings of six hit baseball while Anthony Armanino (Lewis Clark) earned the save throwing the final 2.1 innings. 

Rochester 6, Willmar 0
Rochester scored five runs in the eighth inning and beat the Willmar Stingers 6-0 on Friday night at Mayo Field in Rochester.  All-Star Mike Strong (Oklahoma State) threw 6.0 innings of scoreless baseball and earned the win.  Honker first basemen Ryan Hambright (Oregon) had two hits and three RBI.  Jordan Smith (St. Cloud State) was 3-for-4 in the loss. 

Duluth 14, St. Cloud 6
The Huskies took the lead 7-0 and never looked back as they beat the St. Cloud River Bats 14-6.  The Huskies had two batters that had three hits days in Cody Asche (Nebraska) and Robbie Collier (North Florida).  Asche drove in five funs as Collier also drove in three runs and scored a run.
