Madison 10, Waterloo 2
Madison continued its hot hitting over the past few days and beat the Waterloo Bucks 10-2.  The Mallards had 13 hits and were once again led by Rafael Lopez (Florida State) and Harold Riggins (NC State).  Lopez was 3-for-4 while Riggins had three hits and three RBI.  Zach McCool (Iowa) had two hits and a run scored in the loss. 

Alexandria 4, Thunder Bay 2
Alexandria was down 2-0 to the Thunder Bay Border Cats after three innings, but scored four unanswered to win the game 4-2 Sunday.  The Beetles leadoff hitter Mikel Alvarez (Florida Gulf Coast) had two hits.  Alexandria relief pitcher Eric Shannahan (John A. Logan) earned the win throwing 2.0 innings and only allowing four hits.  Shawn Riesgraf (St. Cloud State) earned the save throwing the final 2.0 innings.  Border Cat Jeff Deblieux (South Alabama) had two hits in the loss. 

Brainerd 10, Duluth 8
Brainerd had ten hits and ten runs to beat the Duluth Huskies 10-8 in Duluth.  Chadd Krist (California) had a nice game for the Lunkers with two hits and three RBI.  Lunkers center fielder Vince Bruno also had three RBI in the win.  The Huskies Mark Threlkeld (Louisiana Tech) was perfect at the plate going 4-for-4 with three RBI. 

Green Bay 8, Wisconsin 0
The Green Bay Bullfrogs had twelve hits on the night and shutout the Wisconsin Woodchucks at Athletic Park.  Green Bay used three pitchers to only allow six hits and no runs while striking out six.  Joel Hutter (Dallas Baptist) had a huge day offensively going 4-for-5 with two runs scored and two RBI.  The Woodchucks Patrick Terry had two hits in the loss. 

La Crosse 3, Wisconsin Rapids 2
The La Crosse Loggers and the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters played ten innings to find a winner at Copeland Park Sunday afternoon.  The Loggers used a Cole Frenzel (Arizona) run off a Mick Doyle single.  Frenzel had two hits on the afternoon.  Logger relief pitcher Madison Boer (Oregon) earned the win throwing the final 2.0 innings.  The Rafters short-stop Beck Wheeler (Santa Barbara) had two hits in the loss. 

Eau Claire 5, Battle Creek 0
The Eau Claire Express beat the Battle Creek Bombers by a score of 5-0 at Carson Park on Sunday night.  The Express pitching staff threw a great game while shutting out the Bombers.  Starting pitcher Bobby Mares (New Mexico) threw 5.0 innings and only allowed one hit to earn the win.  Relief pitcher Dietrich Enns (Central Michigan) earned the save throwing the final 4.0 innings of hitless baseball.  The Express knocked out ten hits and were led by Ty Forney (Yavapai) who was 2-for-4. 

Willmar 13, Mankato 8
The Willmar Stingers were out-hit 14 to 13 by Mankato, but played errorless baseball and took the game 13-8.  The Stingers were helped by three MoonDog errors.  Willmar had three players with multi-hit games.  Zach Rowles (Minnesota Mankato) was 2-for-5 with three RBI and two runs scored.  Carter Bell (Oregon State) had four hits in the win.  The MoonDogs had six players with multi-hit games, but the pitching staff allowed nine walks. 

St. Cloud 1, Rochester 0
St. Cloud 1, Rochester 0

In a game that featured eight hits and two errors total, the St. Cloud River Bats took game one of the double header 1-0.  Both starting pitchers threw complete games while Jason Wheeler (Loyola Marymount) improved to 5-0 on the season with a complete game three hitter.  River Bat All-Star short-stop Steve Nyisztor (Rutgers) was a perfect 3-for-3 with the games only RBI. 

Game two had the same results as game on in St. Cloud on Sunday night.  The St. Cloud River Bats took game two by a score of 1-0 again.  The River Bats pitching staff only gave up two hits on the night and struck out five Honker batters.  St. Cloud leadoff hitter John Schultz (Pittsburgh) had the game winning RBI on a base loaded walk in the bottom of the seventh.
