Mark Threlkeld (Louisiana Tech) was a perfect 4-for-4 on the day with three RBI and two runs scored against the Brainerd Lakes Area Lunkers. Threlkeld now has seven homeruns on the season with a .284 batting average. He is tied with Huskies teammate Cody Asche (Nebraska) and Mallard Harold Riggins (NC State)for the league lead in homeruns (7). Joel Hutter (Dallas Baptist) had four hits for the Green Bay Bullfrogs in their win against the Wisconsin Woodchucks.
