Rochester 2, Mankato 1
The Mankato MoonDogs took a 2-0 lead over the Rochester Honkers in the first inning and never gave up that lead.  The Honkers scored one run in the fourth when Jimmy Waters (Kansas) hit a solo homerun.  The MoonDog got a great pitching performance from starter Logan Odom (USC) who earned the win and Blake Schwartz (Minnesota Mankato) who got the save.  Odom threw 5.2 innings while surrendering one run and Schwartz gave up zero hits over the final 3.1 innings.  MoonDog All-Star Jordan Steranka (Penn State) was 2-for-3 with two RBI and a homerun. 

Duluth 4, Willmar 2
Duluth used a four run fourth inning to take the game 4-2 over the Willmar Stingers in Duluth.  The Huskies were led by 2010 NWL Home Run Derby Champion Mark Threlkeld (Louisiana Tech) who had two hits on the night and Zeke DeVoss (Miami) who was 2-for-4 with two RBI.  Chris Jensen (San Diego) earned the win throwing 6.0 innings of four-hit baseball.  Jordan Smith (St. Cloud State) was 1-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored in the loss.

Thunder Bay 7, St. Cloud 0
Thunder Bay out-hit the St. Cloud River Bats 12-6 in St. Cloud and took the game 7-0 on Thursday night.  The Border Cats first basemen Tyler Wosleger (Fairfield) had two hits and three RBI in the win.  Ryan Court (Illinois State) was a perfect 1-for-1 in the win with two runs scored and three walks.  The Border Cats pitching staff combined to throw a six hit shutout.  Michael Woytek (Wright State) earned the win with Brad Delatte (Nicholls State) registering his first save of the season. 

Brainerd 6, Alexandria 2
The bottom of the Brainerd Lakes Area Lunkers had eight of the eleven Lunker hits and helped beat the Alexandria Beetles 6-2.  The Lunkers six thru nine hitters went a combined 8-for-16.  The Lunkers Levi Ferguson (Indiana State) had three hits from the nine-hole.  Brainerd’s pitching staff combined to throw a three hitter while striking out six.  Brandon Baumgartner earned the win throwing 2.0 innings in relief. 

Wisconsin 7, Wisconsin Rapids 0
It was a pitcher’s duel for the first seven innings of the game at Witter Field, but the Woodchuck bats exploded for seven run in the final two frames.  All but one Woodchuck batters registered a hit and Kevin Pillar (Cal State Dominguez) was 2-for-5 with one run scored and two RBI.  Mitchell Beacom (UCLA) threw 2.1 innings of relief and gave up one hit while striking out four.  Jesse Arreola (Cal Baptist) took the loss throwing 0.2 innings and giving up two earned runs. 

Madison, Eau Claire
The Mallards were forced to postpone tonight’s game, due to showers. The game with the Eau Claire Express will be made up tomorrow as the first half of a double-header. Game one will start at 5:30 p.m.

Battle Creek, Waterloo
Thursday’s game between the Waterloo Bucks and the Battle Creek Bombers has been rained out.  The teams will make up the game as part of a doubleheader on Friday, June 23.  First pitch for game one is scheduled for 5:05 pm CT.

Green Bay, La Crosse
The game between the Green Bay Bullfrogs and the La Crosse Loggers is postponed. The game will be made up as a doubleheader tomorrow, July 23. The doubleheader starts at 5:05 P.M.
