Wisconsin 13, Madison 4
The Woodchucks used two five run innings to beat the Madison Mallards 13-4 in front of 6,284 fans.  Wisconsin knocked out 19 hits and had seven players with multi-hit games.  Kevin Pillar (Cal State Dominguez) had four hits from the leadoff spot and drove in two runs.  Travis Whitemore (Pittsburgh) also had four hits and scored two runs.  The Woodchucks Jon Mascot threw the final 4.0 innings to earn the save while only allowing one hit. 

Rochester 9, Brainerd 0
The Rochester Honkers shut out the Brainerd Lakes Area Lunkers by the score of 9-0 at Mayo Field in Rochester Tuesday night.  Rochester native Josh McKeon (Upper Iowa) was dazzling on the mound for the Honkers, picking up his fourth win of the season.  McKeon tossed 8.0 innings while scattering five hits and collecting five strikeouts.  Matt Dittman (Illinois) finished the night with three hits on four trips to the plate while collecting an RBI. Chris Elder (Oral Roberts) led the team with four RBI on a 2-for-4 night including a towering home run to right field. Jimmy Waters (Kansas) and Josef Terry (Cerritos College) also recorded an RBI in the victory for the Honkers.

Eau Claire 11, Green Bay 5
Tuesday night’s game with the Eau Claire Express and Green Bay Bullfrogs had 28 hits and 16 runs.  The Express took the game 11-5 in front of 1,025 fans at Joannes Stadium.  Cal Towey (Baylor) led the Express going 3-for-4 with two RBI.  Lucas Herbst (Santa Clara) had two doubles in the win.  The Express pitching duo of Josh Scheffert (Nebraska) and Harvey Martin combined to earn the win and save respectively.   

Waterloo 5, Wisconsin Rapids 4
The Wisconsin Rapids used a three run seventh inning to take the lead going 4-3 going into the eighth, but the Waterloo Bucks scored twice to take the lead 5-4.  The Bucks were out hit 6-11, but three errors cost the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters.  Zach McCool (Iowa) drove in two runs as did Bucks leftfielder Nick Anderson.  Cody Koback (Wisconsin Stevens-Point) had three hits in the loss for the Rafters.  Luke Putz (Minnesota State) earned his league leading ninth save for the Bucks. 

La Crosse 5, Battle Creek 2
The La Crosse Loggers were down 2-1 after three innings, but used a four run sixth to beat the Battle Creek Bombers Tuesday night.  The Loggers Matt Flemer (California) has two hits and four RBI with his second homerun of the season.  Mike Marjama (Sacrament City CC) also had two hits and two walks.  Logger starting pitcher Kodey Simon (Winona State) registered a no-decision after throwing 5.1 innings and allowing two runs.  Jordan Haver threw the final 3.2 innings and struck out six while allowing no hits. 

St. Cloud, Thunder Bay
The July 27 game between the St. Cloud River Bats and Thunder Bay Border Cats has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions at Joe Faber Field. The contest will be made up tomorrow, July 28, at Joe Faber as part of a double-header. The Bats and Border Cats will play two, seven-inning games beginning at 6:05 p.m.

Duluth, Mankato
The July 27 game between the Duluth Huskies and Mankato MoonDogs has been postponed due to rain. The contest will be made up tomorrow, July 28, as part of a double-header.

Willmar, Alexandria
Due to inclement weather and unplayable field conditions, Tuesday night’s game between the Willmar Stingers and the Alexandria Beetles has been postponed. As a result, the Stingers and Beetles will play a pair of seven inning games on Wednesday, July 28th starting at 6:05 pm at Bill Taunton Stadium, with the gates opening at 5:00 pm.
