Felix Cardenas of the Eau Claire Express threw 7.0 innings of three-hit ball while shutting out the Waterloo Bucks. Cardenas improved to 4-3 on the 2010 season with a 2.18 ERA. He currently has pitched 53.2 innings for the Express while striking out 39.
The Battle Creek Bombers Corey Chaffins (Eastern Michigan) earned his first win of the season by beating the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 4-0. Chaffins threw a complete game three hitter while striking out three.
