Alexandria 11, St. Cloud 0
The Beetles exploded in the first inning against the St. Cloud River Bats as they scored 11 runs.  The Beetles took the game 11-0 after 5.0 innings and were led by Lindsey Caughel (Stetson) who earned his 8th win of the year.  Caughel threw a complete game six hitter for the Beetles.  All-Star short-stop Marcus Semien (California Berkeley) had two hits and drove in three runs on the victory. 

Madison 7, Eau Claire 4
The Madison Mallards beat the Eau Claire Express 7-4 Saturday night as Lucas LeBlanc (Delgado CC) had a huge night at the plate.  Delgado was a perfect 3-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.  The Mallards Ryan Gorton (Oregon State) threw a three hitter over 2.1 innings while striking out three Express batters. The Express were led by hot hitting DeMarcus Tidwell (Yavapai) who was 3-for-4 with a run scored in the loss. 

Thunder Bay 7, Willmar 2
The Thunder Bay Border Cats beat the Willmar Stingers 7-2 as Garrett Yount (Rollins College-FL) threw a great game.  Yount threw a four hitter over 7.0 innings while striking out six Stingers.  The Border Cats were led offensively by Tanner Nivins (Stony Brook) who had three hits and four RBI in the win.  Isaac Ballou (Marshall) had two hits in the loss for the Stingers. 

Waterloo 14, Battle Creek 9
The Waterloo Bucks put up 14 runs against the Battle Creek Bombers as Willie Argo (Illinois) went off.  Argo was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and four RBI to pace to Bucks offense.  Ryan Rieger (Santa Clara) drove in five runs as he was a homerun away from the cycle.  The Bucks Will Strack (Illinois) threw 3.2 innings of hitless baseball to earn the win.  Sean Deegan (Penn State) led the Bombers with three hit night. 

Green Bay 5, La Crosse 2
The Green Bay Bullfrogs beat the La Crosse Loggers in a South Division showdown 5-2 in Green Bay.  The Bullfrogs knocked out ten hits while leadoff hitter Daniel Putnam continued his hot hitting.  Putnam drove in three runs and had two walks.  Brian Burgess (West Alabama) earned his fourth win of the season as he gave up one run over 5.0 innings.  Chris O’Dowd (Dartmouth) had three hits in the loss for La Crosse. 

Wisconsin 10, Wisconsin Rapids 7
The Woodchucks beat the Rafter 10-7 at Witter Field on Saturday night in front of 1,149 NWL fans.  Every hitter for the Woodchucks registered a hit while four batters had RBI’s on the night.  Jamie Bruno knocked in three runs and hit his 8th homerun of the season.  The Rafters Cody Koback (Stevens Point) also homered and drove in three runs in the loss. 

Brainerd 2, Mankato 0
The Brainerd Lakes Area Lunkers beat the Mankato MoonDogs in a pitcher’s duel Saturday night.  The Lunkers Aaron Sapp (Ithaca) earned his 6th win of the season as he threw a complete game six hitter.  Logan Odom (USC) also threw a complete game, but took the loss as he gave up two earned runs while walking two.  The offense for the Lunkers came from David Allbritton (Emporia State) who had one hit and two RBI in the win. 

Duluth, Rochester
Game one of the scheduled double-header between the Rochester Honkers and the Duluth Huskies has been suspended due to weather. The game was suspended in the top of the fourth inning with the Honkers leading the Huskies 9-1. The second game of the double-header has been cancelled and will not be made up.
