The Willmar Stingers took game one of the double header 11-7 thanks to five multi-hit games from Willmar hitters.  Mikey Reynolds (St. Mary’s) was 3-for-4 while Anthony Bemboom (Creighton), Carlos Leyva (Cal State Dominguez Hills), Eduardo Gonzalez (Alcorn State) and Joe Sever (Pepperdine) all had two hits in the win.  Alexandria hit the ball well in the loss with five players also have multi-hit games.  All-Star Marcus Semien (California Berkeley) was 2-for-4 with one run scored and one RBI in the loss. 

The Stingers took game two by a score of 6-4 to complete the two game sweep.  Willmar jumped out to a 4-1 lead and never looked back.  Jared Norris (Oregon State) had three RBI in the win while Nate Johnson (Pepperdine) had two RBI.  The Stinger pitching staff combined to throw a six hitter while striking out seven Beetles. 

Mankato 5, Duluth 0
The MoonDogs jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead after two innings and took the game 5-0 in front of 1,007 fans.  Mankato was led by Sam Eberle (Jacksonville State) who was 2-for-4 with three RBI in the win.  Jonathan Montoya earned his 2nd win of the season after throwing 6.2 innings of scoreless baseball while striking out six.  Zeke DeVoss (Miami) had two hits in the loss for the Huskies. 

Wisconsin 7, Waterloo 6
The Wisconsin Woodchucks knocked out 15 hits and scored seven runs as they beat the Waterloo Bucks 7-6 in front of 2,065 fans.  The ‘Chucks were led by Jamie Bruno who was 4-for-5 with two runs scored.  Brock Stassi (Nevada) and Robbie De La Cruz (UNLV) each had multi-hit games in the win.  Waterloo’s designated hitter Jeremy Lucas (Indiana State) was 2-for-3 with two runs scored in the loss. 

Madison 9, La Crosse 5
The Loggers jumped out to a 4-2 lead, but couldn’t hold on as the Mallards scored seven runs in the final six innings to take the game 9-5.  Madison was led by Justin Scanlon (Madison College) who was 3-for-5 with three RBI and one run scored.  Brent Warren (Oregon State) drove in two runs while Rafael Lopez (Florida State) scored three runs. 

Eau Claire 11, Wisconsin Rapids 1
The Eau Claire Express continued their winning ways as they beat the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 11-1 on Friday night.  Eau Claire knocked out 11 hits and scored 11 runs as the Rafters only managed five hits and one run.  Brad Goldberg (Coastal Carolina) threw a complete game five hitter while striking out six Rafters and only walking two batters.  Andrew Leonard (Illinois Chicago) had two RBI and two runs scored in the win. 

Green Bay 5, Battle Creek 3
The Bullfrogs won in extra innings Friday night as they beat the Bombers 5-3.  Green Bay had ten batters with hits and were led by Joe Betcher (Illinois Chicago) who was 2-for-4 with two runs scored while Brent Young (Wisconsin Whitewater) was 2-for-4.  Alex Schmarzo (Saint Mary’s) earned the win as he threw 2.1 innings of scoreless baseball.  Travis Brown (Notre Dame College) was 4-for-5 in the loss for the Bombers. 
Rochester, Thunder Bay
The game between the Rochester Honkers and the Thunder Bay Border Cats has been canceled due to extreme weather. The game will not be made up and is lost to the schedule as the two teams do not play each other the remainder of the 2010 season. 

Brainerd, St. Cloud
The game between Brainerd and St. Cloud has been postponed due to weather.
