The Waterloo Bucks announced the signing of outfielder Davis Hendrickson to their roster for the 2011 season. Hendrickson is a sophomore at the University of Illinois and is the third player to be named to the Waterloo roster for the 2011 NWL season.
Last season, Hendrickson hit .258 for the Fighting Illini in 29 games. The Macomb, Illinois native finished the season with a .378 on-base percentage and five RBI.
“I am very excited about the opportunity to play for the Waterloo Bucks,” said Hendrickson. “I am looking forward to a summer of high-level baseball.”
