It was standing room-only Saturday at the Warner Park Community Recreation Center as the Madison Mallards unveiled their new logo, mascot Maynard G. Mallard, and plans for a $1.5M major stadium renovation project.

On-hand was hundreds of fans who caught the first glimpse of the Mallards re-branding campaign for the 2011 season.
Presenters included Mallards Owner Steve Schmitt, Mallards President Vern Stenman, Mallards General Manager Conor Caloia, and Madison Parks Superintendent Kevin Briski.

After Stenman’s speech, a sliding-wall was then moved to give fans a perfect view of the Mallards new logo and a two-story 4-in-one inflatable that will surely be a hit with youngsters this summer at the "Duck Pond."

Merchandise was also made available as fans gobbled up t-shirts, hats, sweatshirts, and jackets.
