The Rochester Honkers Baseball Club announced the signing of right-handed pitcher Robert Hansen and catcher Spencer Navin from #2 ranked Vanderbilt University. 

Hansen is a 5’11", 155-pound freshman from Hendersonville, TN.  He lettered all four years in baseball at Beach High School.  After his senior season, Hansen was named the 2010 All-Midstate Player of the Year, District 9-AAA MVP, and Team MVP.  He was then drafted in the 45th round by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2010 Amateur Players Draft.

Navin is 6’1", 190-pound freshman from Des Moines, IA.  He lettered all four years in baseball at Dowling High School, including earning 2 letters in both football and basketball.  Navin was team captain of the baseball and basketball teams as a junior and senior.  He was a first team All-State player in baseball and football, a three-time All-Conference selection in baseball, twice in football and once in basketball.  Navin was also named the Dowling High School Athlete of the Year

The Rochester Honkers 18th season begins on June 1st when they travel to Mankato, MN for a 7:05pm start.
