The Thunder Bay Border Cats have added four more players for the 2011 Northwoods League season with the signings of first baseman Kevin Taylor, outfielder Eric Aguilera, pitcher Donnie White and shortstop Jake MacWilliam.
 
Taylor is a 6’5", 230 pound lefthanded hitter from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.  In 17 games this spring with the Hawks, Taylor is batting .286 with five doubles and eight runs batted in.  The native of Catonsville, MD, led St. Joe’s with five home runs during the 2010 season.  Taylor, who will also see time at the designated hitter position, is a junior with the Hawks. 
 
Aguilera is a junior at Illinois State University, where he is a teammate of former Border Cats infielder Ryan Court.  The 6’3", 205 lefthanded hitter from Cary, IL, is batting .263 in seven games this season with two home runs and four RBI’s. 
 
White is a righthander at Nicholls State University in Louisiana, where he works out of the bullpen with Border Cats lefthander Brad Delatte.  The native of Maurepas, LA, has appeared in five games this spring and is 1-0 with one save and a 1.50 earned run average.  The 5’11", 180 pound junior has recorded eight strikeouts in six innings of relief. 
 
MacWilliam is a 6’1", 180 pound freshman at the University of Hawaii, where he is a teammate of former Border Cats Connor Little and P.K. Kitamura.  MacWilliam was named to the Arizona first all state team in his final year of high school, after batting .429 at Arcadia High School in Phoenix.
