The Rochester Honkers Baseball Club is announcing the return of outfielder, Bryan Karraker, a temporary player on last year’s club.

Karraker, a 5-10, 180-pound junior outfielder, from Phoenix, Arizona, and New Mexico State University, appeared in 21 games last season with the Honkers.  Karraker is currently hitting .302 with three doubles, two home runs and 16 RBI for New Mexico State.  He has started 15 of 16 games in the outfield, primarily in right field.

In his 21 games with the Honkers last year, Karraker batted .280 with three home runs and eight RBI.

Karraker will have no problem adjusting to the managing styles of Honkers Field Manager, Ryan Ruiz, as he spent two seasons playing at Central Arizona, where Ruiz is an assistant coach.  While at Central Arizona, he won the Region 1 Championship both times.  Karraker acquired two first-team all-region awards, second team all-state and was announced as an NJCAA Rawlings Gold Glove winner in 2010.
