The Rochester Honkers Baseball Club announced today that Anthony Hutting, a sophomore outfielder from #8 ranked Cal State Fullerton, will return for his second season with the Honkers.

Hutting is a 6 foot, 185-pound lefty that is currently hitting .182 with two doubles and six RBI for the #8 ranked Titans.  Last summer for the Honkers, Hutting hit .252 with 1 homerun and 15 RBI in 42 games played.  As a freshman at CSF, Hutting appeared in 28 games, hitting .208 with 13 RBI.  He was called upon to pinch hit 10 times, more than any other Titan.

Hutting was drafted in the 38th round by the Texas Rangers in the 2009 MLB First-Year Players Draft.  His cousin, Aaron Rowand, is a starting outfielder for the San Francisco Giants and another cousin, James Shields, is a right-handed pitcher for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
