Waterloo 9, Madison 0

In the only game Wednesday night in the Northwoods League, the Waterloo Bucks shutout the Madison Mallards.  The Bucks beat the Mallards 9-0 in a rain shortened game thanks to solid hitting from Cameron Perkins (Purdue) and Mike Wisecarver (Nicholls State).  Perkins was 3-for-4 on the night with two RBIs and three runs scored while Wiscarver threw a complete game five hitter while striking out nine Mallards.  Thomas Lindauer (Illinois) also had a nice night at the plate as he drove in three runs.  Cameron Booser (Oregon State) took the loss as he only lasted 2.0 innings and gave up seven runs.
