Jonathan Crawford (Florida) was impressive in his 1st start of the season for the Madison Mallards. Crawford, a 6’2” righty, threw 5.0 innings while only allowing one Bullfrog hit to register his 1st win of the 2011 season. Crawford now has a 1.86 earned run average in 9.2 innings pitched and has 15 strikeouts.
Also pitching well was Madison Mallard Travis Parker (St. Louis) who threw the final 4.0 scoreless innings in relief of Crawford.
