Jordan Remer (San Francisco) had an outstanding pitching performance Monday night to help the Mankato MoonDogs clinch the North Division 1st half title. Remer, a 6’2” lefty, threw 7.1 innings and only allowed two River Bats hits and one earned run. Remer improves to 2-2 on the season in 18 innings over five appearances.
Kye Winter (Augustana) of Brainerd also had a nice outing on Monday night. Winter threw 8.0 innings earning his 3rd win of the 2011 season.
