Mike Wisecarver of the Waterloo Bucks silenced the Eau Claire Express at Riverfront Stadium on Sunday afternoon.  Wisecarver threw 7.1 innings and did not allow a run.  He gave up three hits and struck out five Express hitters.  The 5’10’’ lefty from Kenner, LA is now 4-0 with a 1.86 earned run average in seven appearances.  Wisecarver has won four of his last five starts and has 36 strikeouts in 43.2 innings pitched while only walking 13 batters. 

Also pitching well on Sunday afternoon was Wisconsin Rapids Rafters lefty Brad Douthit from USC. Douthit threw 7.0 innings and allowed three hits while striking out six Mallards in the 7-1 win.
