The Beetles Matt Fyffe was impressive on Tuesday night against the Lunkers at Knute Nelson Memorial Park in Alexandria. Fyffe, a 6’3” righty from Eastern Kentucky, only allowed two Brainerd hits in 8.0 innings of work. He also fanned five batters and only allowed one walk. Fyffe is now 3-2 with a 3.53 earned run average in 43.1 innings pitched.
