Brennan Moore of the Mankato MoonDogs was the ultimate lead-off hitter Thursday night. Moore, a Texas Tech product, was 3-for-5 on the night with two runs scored and six runs batted in. Brennan blasted a 5th inning grand slam to give the MoonDogs an 11-0 lead, but the Border Cats fought back with a seven run 8th inning. Moore is now hitting .307 in 30 games and has 15 extra-base hits.
