Dan Child of the La Crosse Loggers threw 4.0 innings of relief against the Madison Mallards to earn his 1st win of the 2011 season. Child relieved Loggers starting pitcher Jake Stassi after Stassi threw 3.0 of seven hit baseball. Child, a 6’4” righty, only allowed three hits and struck out three Mallards. Child now sports a 0.83 earned run average in 21.2 innings pitched.
