BATTLE CREEK, MI- The Battle Creek Bombers have signed two Northwestern sophomore pitchers for the 2012 season.
   
Dan Tyson: 5’10”-180, L/L, LHP, Northwestern University (SO.), San Diego, CA

Ethan Bramschreiber: 6’4”-220, R/R, RHP, Northwestern University (SO.), Glendora, CA

Dan Tyson [top] is currently in his sophomore year at Northwestern University. As a freshman, Tyson threw 49.1 innings for the Wildcats finishing with a 6.02 ERA to support a record of 2-5. He also added 32 strikeouts in his first year. After graduating high school, Dan competed for the Tampa Bay Rays Scout Team before arriving at Northwestern.

Bramschreiber [bottom] appeared in 15 games out of the bullpen, finishing with a 1-2 overall record. His 3.30 ERA ranked second on the Northwestern team among regular pitchers. Last summer, Ethan was a member of the Kauai Menehunes of the Hawaii Collegiate Baseball League. Before coming to Northwestern, he played summer ball alongside Tyson for the Rays Scout Team.
