BATTLE CREEK, MI- Caleb Vincent is returning to the Battle Creek Bombers this summer after an impressive season during their 2011 Championship campaign.

Caleb Vincent: 6’0-180, L/L, LHP, Kellogg Community College (SO.), Marshall, MI. 
 
Vincent is a local Marshall product that was a member of the Kellogg Community College team that went to the NJCAA World Series last spring and finished 4th in the country. Last season he joined the Bombers in the beginning of July and helped with valuable innings all summer long.  He was a stable force that pushed the team towards its first Championship in team history.  He finished the season with a record of 4-0 and a 2.57 ERA. Caleb’s role with the squad was out of the bullpen, however he recorded three starts, striking out 21 batters.

After finishing the current school year at KCC, Caleb will join the Western Michigan University baseball program where he committed earlier this fall.

The Battle Creek Bombers are members of the prestigious Northwoods League that has more teams, plays more games, and draws more fans than any other summer collegiate baseball league in North America. The team is set to kick off their 6th season in Battle Creek on June 1st with a Fireworks display and 2011 Championship celebration.
